About
My goal has always been to dedicate my life to educating, helping, and informing the public about anything in reference to our weather and atmospheric system.
Working at WSIL in the Paducah market since January of 2022, I have experienced vast types of weather, from snow storms to tornado outbreaks. You can currently catch me on air weekday mornings starting at 4:30 a.m.
When I’m not on air, I’m writing weather/climate pieces or reporting on community outreach programs across the region. I have been a part of a few award-winning specials like ‘Project Tornado.’
If I’m not in the studio or reporting, I love being in a classroom. Being a meteorologist gives me the fun opportunity of getting to teach. I have a lot of experience working with students of all ages in southern Illinois and back home in North Carolina. I’ve covered a wide range of topics from my job, to weather safety, to science experiments and natural disasters. A bit more about me . . .
